Just Found Out That I Need Hearing Aids

I’m M23, and had a hearing test done yesterday. I did one 2 years ago, and my right ear was below the normal hearing range, with the left ear following not far behind. (2022 results on Left, 2024 Results on Right)

And the results from yesterday have shown that they have continued to decline. And the audiologist said that my hearing range is consistent w someone who needs hearing aids. I saw this coming, but actually hearing it from a doctor was a little heartbreaking. It’s believed it’s related to a nerve issue, and I had an MRI done and it came back normal.

So I’ve got a big decision to make here. Whether or not I should look into getting a pair asap, or waiting it out a little bit longer.

I’m not sure what I’m looking for with this post. But would love some input from some of you. Or Maybe I just needed to vent:’)
